Today (April 13), OPPO has launched the OPPO Reno Ace 2 - its latest 5G smartphone at an event held in China. It is also the first smartphone from the company to support 40W wireless charging.

OPPO Reno Ace 2: Price & Availability
The Reno Ace 2 has a starting price of CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 43,200) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version is priced at CNY 4,399 (around Rs. 47,500), while the top-end variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB of storage is sold at a retail price of CNY 4,599 (around Rs. 49,700).
The phone comes in two color options, Purple and Black. In addition, OPPO also sells the 40W AirVOOC wireless charging dock for CNY 249 (around Rs. 2,700). Both products are expected to hit the stores in China on April 20.
OPPO Reno Ace 2: Specifications & Features
OPPO Reno Ace 2 sports a 6.5 inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, Full-HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels), and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a brightness of up to 1000 nits, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and features the popular punch-hole design, with a cut-out at the upper left corner housing a 16MP selfie camera.

Inside, the Ace 2 has the hardware power from the top-end Snapdragon 865 processor, combining with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. It has an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security, Dolby Atmos support, dual speakers, and a weight of only 185 grams.
Moving to the back, OPPO Reno Ace 2 carries a 4-camera system housed in a circular module. The rear camera cluster includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor with a 116-degree viewing angle, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor.

The device comes with a 4,000mAh battery, that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology, 40W AirVOOC wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging. It uses USB-C connectivity, has NFC, dual-mode 5G network, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1 and comes pre-installed with Android 10-based ColorOS 7.1 interface out of the box.
