OnePlus 8 series will be announced in the near future as the direct successor to last year’s OnePlus 7 series. Several reports suggested that the OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro could make their debut by mid-April. However, several other sources claimed that OnePlus could delay the launch to the end of next month because of the Covid-19 outbreak. The OnePlus 8 specifications have been leaked online in recent reports. Now, reliable leaked Ishan Agarwal has just shared the specification sheet of the forthcoming OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro.
OnePlus 8 Pro: Specifications & Features
According to the new leak, the 8 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch Super AMOLED that offers Quad-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. We have already got a good look at the phone’s design thanks to the CAD-based renders, which revealed its curved and punch-hole display. For photography, the phone will have a 16MP camera for selfies and a quad-camera cluster (48MP + 48MP + 8MP + 5MP sensors) on the rear.

Powering the phone will be a Snapdragon 865 chipset, aided by 8/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. There will be a 4,510 mAh battery under the hood that supports 30W WarpCharge fast charging, 30W wireless charging, and 3W reverse wireless charging. The handset will be up for sales in Blue, Green, and Black color variants. Interestingly, the source also suggests that the handset will be IP68 certified for water and dust resistant, which is something OnePlus has been resisting on its flagship devices for so long.
OnePlus 8: Specifications
The device will sport a smaller 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Unlike the Pro model, its display will be flat, but still have the same punch-hole at the top, which is used to house a 16MP camera for selfies. Around the back, it will have a total of three cameras, including a 48MP main sensor along with 16MP + 2MP sensors.

Just like the Pro variant, the vanilla model will have a Snapdragon 865 at the helm alongside 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. It will pack a 4,300 mAh battery that supports 30W WarpCharge 30T technology. It will come in Green, Black, and Glow color variants and no IP rating.
