The flagship Nokia 9 PureView finally makes its way to India as the first smartphone to come with five cameras at the back.

Nokia 9 PureView finally comes to India and becomes the first smartphone in the country with five rear cameras. It is currently the flagship offering from HMD Global with last year’s Snapdragon 845 SoC. The handset will be available for sale via both offline and online channels.

Nokia 9 PureView: Price

The device will be priced at Rs. 49,999 for the single variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also comes in a single Midnight Blue color variant and is available to purchase via Flipkart and Nokia website. While it will be listed on the e-commerce site Flipkart today, interested buyers will have to wait to buy the phone via retail stores from until 17 July.

Nokia 9 PureView: Specifications & Features

The phone sports a 5.99-inch pOLED panel with Quad-HD+ resolution and support for HDR10. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is last year’s flagship chipset from Qualcomm. The processor is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Software-wise, it ships with the stock version of Android 9 Pie at launch. In terms of battery, it is fueled by a 3,320 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging solution and 10W wireless charging. For security, it features an in-display fingerprint reader.

Moving to the camera aspect, it comes with a penta camera setup at the rear. The setup comprises of five 12MP sensors on the rear, two of which are RGB sensors and the other three are monochrome sensors with auto-focus and an f/1.8 aperture. On the front, there is a 20MP camera for taking selfies and video calling.
