According to the new Geekbench listing, the Nokia 7.2 will come with a Qualcomm octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, Android 9 Pie, and more.

Nokia 7.2 has already been featured in quite a few leaks for a while, and those have given us a good idea of the phone. Previously, a Nokia smartphone surfaced online with codename ‘Daredevil’. Now, the same phone just made its appearance on benchmarking platform Geekbench. However, this time the phone also comes with an actual name, which is Nokia 7.2.

The Geekbench listing suggests that the phone will pack 6GB of RAM and run on a Qualcomm’s octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.84GHz. Software-wise, it will ship with Android 9 Pie at launch. Moreover, it is highly likely that the Nokia 7.2 will also be a part of Google’s Android One program. As per the listing, the Nokia 7.2 achieved 1,604 and 5,821 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. These are all the details we can get from the new listing.

Previous reports claimed that the upcoming Nokia 7.2 would share quite a few similarities with the Nokia 6.2. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but both phones are tipped to have model numbers TA-1193 and TA-1198. The Nokia 7.2 was already certified in Indonesia, Russia, and BIS portal as well. Leaked case renders showed that the phone would come with a dewdrop notch and a circular camera setup that is similar to the Lumia smartphones. For security, it is shown to feature a fingerprint reader at the back. On the front, it is said to sport a 6.2-inch FHD+ display and is driven by either a Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 710 SoC.

In terms of camera, the forthcoming Nokia 7.2 will likely feature a 48MP main camera with Zeiss branding and an ultra-wide camera with 120-degree field of view. It might have a third depth sensor for portrait mode. Fueling the phone is tipped to be a 3,500 mAh battery. You should take note that these specs are mostly based on leaks and rumors, so we can’t confirm all of these details.

HMD Global has just sent invites to its event at the IFA 2019, in which the brand is expected to announce the Nokia 5.2, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.2, and Nokia 8.2.
