HMD Global's mid-range Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are expected to launch on September 5. In the meantime, renders of the Nokia 7.2 continues to surface online ahead of the launch.
The render photos show that the upcoming Nokia 7.2 has a rather slim design. Accordingly, the phone will sport a waterdrop display with thin bezels on both sides. While the forehead is quite thin, the phone's chin is a bit thicker. Its rear panel has a circular camera module with three sensors and a LED flash put next to the setup. Below this camera cluster is a fingerprint sensor.
In addition, we can see that the right side of the Nokia 7.2 will house the power and volume buttons. Meanwhile, the company does not put any button on the phone's left edge. On the bottom, there is a USB Type-C charging port, external speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In addition, as per the render images, the Nokia 7.2 is probably available in 3 color options including Blue, Black, and Red.
In general, this render has the same design as what was leaked before. The sources also revealed that both Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 feature the same design.
In terms of the configuration, the FCC certification previously revealed that the Nokia 7.2 will flaunt a 6.3-inch or bigger display. Additionally, it is hoped that the upcoming phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 710+ chipset, along with 6GB of RAM. In the software department, the phone will run Android 9.0 Pie at launch. Meanwhile, the Nokia 6.2 is expected to pack the Snapdragon 660 SoC. Both devices will be available at IFA 2019 that is set to take place in early September. So the official launch date is coming closer, let’s stay tuned to wait for further information that probably surfaces online in the coming time.
