Nokia 5.2 Listed On Geekbench With 3GB Of RAM & Android 10

The Nokia 5.2, with the codename 'HMD Global CaptainAmerica', pops up on Geekbench with a Qualcomm octa-core chipset and Android 10.

Today, the Nokia 5.2 smartphone has just suddenly appeared in the Geekbench database and thanks to that, some details about the specifications of the device have been revealed.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Nokia 5.2 scored 313 points in the single-core test and 1,419 points in the multi-core test. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing confirms that Nokia 5.2 will run on Android 10 out of the box. Inside, the device will be powered by a 1.80GHz octa-core chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM.

According to previous rumors, the Nokia 5.2, which will likely be a part of the Android One program, is expected to come with a stock version of Android 10 pre-installed. Evan Blass also suggests that the phone will pack 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Interestingly, the leaker says that the codename of the phone will be Captain America. Finally, his Tweet ends with the possible price of the phone. The Nokia 5.2 could be priced at $180 (roughly Rs. 13,000). In addition, the handset could be powered by a Snapdragon 632 chipset, sport a 6.2-inch screen, and an 8MP selfie camera.

As mentioned above, in addition to Nokia 5.2, HMD Global is expected to launch many other phones of the company in the upcoming event on March 19, including Nokia 8.2 5G, Nokia 1.3 and Nokia C2. The Nokia 8.2 5G has been rumored to carry a Snapdragon 765G chipset with an integrated 5G modem. In addition, it is tipped to carry a 6.2-inch screen that supports HRD 10+, four cameras on the rear with a 64MP main sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera housed on a pop-up module. The Nokia 8.2 5G price could start from €459 (roughly Rs. 36,000).

 

Since there are only around two weeks until the event, more details will likely come out in the near future.
