Motorola Edge+ Shows Up On Geekbench With Android 10 & 12GB RAM

Motorola is said to be working on a new flagship smartphone called Motorola Edge+. For now, the brand hasn’t slipped a word about the release date of the Motorola Edge+, but since it has passed through Geekbench, we believe that its launch is not too far away. The Geekbench listing of the phone shows that it will come with 12GB of RAM and Android 10. It is also rumored to be introduced at the MWC 2020 event in late February. 

Motorola Edge+: Expected Specifications & Features

The Geekbench listing shows that the Motorola Edge+ is powered by an octa-core processor with a base frequency of 1.80GHz and the motherboard’s codename is ‘burton’. With the chipset, the handset achieved respective scores of 4,106 and 12,832 points in the single-core and multi-core tests. The listing also reveals that Motorola’s upcoming flagship will ship with Android 10 pre-loaded to take care of the software side of things. 

The device is listed with 12GB RAM, but we expect to see several other RAM variants of this phone. On the front, it is said to sport a hole-punch display, which has been used by many high-end smartphones recently. As for availability, we are not sure about the Motorola Edge+ release date in India. However, it will go on sale via Verizon in the US market.

Aside from the listing on Geekbench, we have got pretty much no other information about the Motorola Edge+. However, since it is expected to be introduced at MWC 2020, we could hear more about the handset in the coming days. Aside from that, we have also learned that the brand is working on the Moto G8 and Moto G8 Plus. In addition, a mysterious Motorola smartphone with a stylus is also reportedly in the works and it could be called Motorola G Stylus. The handset was said to feature a hole-punch display and similar design to the Motorola One Action.
