The device is positioned in the mid-range segment with a 6.4-inch HD+ punch-hole display, a triple camera setup on the rear, and a Snapdragon 665 chipset at the helm. Sadly, the handset is only available in the UK and Brazil for now. It is expected to make its way to other markets in Latin America, Australia, Europe, and Asia in the near future.
Moto G8: Price & Availability
The Moto G8 price is around Rs. 18,300 in Brazil while its price in the UK is only around Rs. 17,000. For now, the brand hasn’t detailed its plan to launch the phone in other markets. It is available for sales in White Prism and Capri Blue colors.
Moto G8: Specifications & Features
Moving to the specifications, the device sports a 6.4-inch display with HD+ resolution and a single punch-hole at the upper left corner. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. You can expand the storage up to 512GB using a microSD card. Under the hood, there is a 4,000 mAh battery that keeps the phone running and it supports standard 10W charging solution via a USB Type-C port, placed next to a headphone jack at the bottom edge.
For photography, it gets a single 8MP selfie shooter housed in the front punch-hole. At the back, there are a total of three cameras placed vertically at the top left corner. They are a 16MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP macro camera. There is also a module that accommodates a Laser Autofocus system. Finally, Motorola equips the phone a fingerprint sensor for security and it is embedded underneath the rear Motorola logo.
