Motorola already released the Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play, but we haven’t seen the standard version and the Power model, succeeding the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus. Now according to an insider cited in XDA-Developers, the two smartphones are on their way and their key specs are also revealed in the report. The two handsets will reportedly come with a 6.39-inch LCD display and a Snapdragon 665 SoC.
Moto G8: Expected Specifications & Features
The Moto G8 is tipped to be the more affordable version of the two. There will be a 6.39-inch display with HD+ resolution and a punch-hole to house a selfie camera. The display is tipped to be on an LCD panel and that means we will see a fingerprint sensor mounted at the back of the phone. It will also come with a Snapdragon 665 SoC and a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging standard.
Camera-wise, its camera setup on the rear is going to include a 16MP main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it will get an 8MP camera for video calls and selfies.
Moto G8 Power: Expected Specifications & Features
The Moto G8 Power will also be powered by a Snapdragon 665 SoC. On the front, it is said to sport the same 6.36-inch LCD display, but it will support FHD+ resolution instead. It will have a massive 5,000 mAh battery, which can be refilled with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (18W) in a wider and taller body.
In terms of camera, its punch-hole on the front will house a 25MP selfie camera. Around the back, there will be a quad-camera lens setup that reportedly includes the same sensors as the vanilla version with an additional 8MP shooter with an f/2.4 aperture, probably a telephoto shooter.
