Xiaomi planned to release the Xiaomi Mi 10 in India back in March. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the plan was canceled until now. The handset has announced the phone in the country via a live stream. Even though the brand launched two smartphones in the Mi 10 series, only the vanilla Mi 10 makes its debut in India, while the Mi 10 Pro is unlikely to come to the Indian market. The key highlights of the handset are its 108MP quad rear cameras, Snapdragon 865 SoC, and 90Hz AMOLED display.

Xiaomi Mi 10: Price in India & Availability
The handset is offered in two memory configurations in India. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 49,999 while the 8GB + 256GB variant is available for Rs. 54,999. You can grab either of the models in Twilight Grey or Coral Green colorways.
The handset will be up for sales for the first time in India on 13 May via Amazon.in and Mi.com. Those who pre-order the Mi 10 will be able to get a free Mi Wireless Powerbank that worth Rs. 25,000, up to Rs. 3,000 cashback for HDFC bank cards, and no-cost EMI plans at offline and online platforms.
Xiaomi Mi 10: Specifications & Features
The Mi 10 comes with a glass back and an aluminum frame on the side. The device is covered by a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED 3D curved display on the front, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The screen offers up to Full-HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and supports 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it gets the processing power from a Snapdragon 865 chipset, alongside 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Xiaomi doesn’t offer expandable memory, so you might need to get the 256GB if you need to keep a lot of photos, videos, and other files.

Since the 5G network is still not available in India, the Mi 10 only supports 4G connectivity. Despite the lack of 5G, the phone still packs a massive 4,780 mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4+ and comes bundled with a 30W fast charger. You can also charge the device using a 30W wireless charger or use the phone to charge another device with the 5W reverse wireless charging technology. Xiaomi offers a vapor chamber liquid cooling tech inside the phone to regulate its internal temperature.

Moving to the camera department, the Mi 10 is equipped with a single 20MP selfie camera on the front and quad rear cameras at the back. The selfie shooter supports multiple features such as HDR, AI Beautify, AI scene detection, AI portrait mode, 30fps video recording, palm shutter, and more. As for the rear camera cluster, it includes a 108MP main sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 123-degree viewing angle, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Camera features for the rear setup are AI scene detection, AI portrait mode, Pro mode, 8K video recording, 720p/1080p slow-mo video recording @ 120fps, dual-LED flash, HDR, and more.
