Last month, the Lenovo-owned Motorola announced its Moto G7 series in Brazil. This series is a successor to the Moto G6 series, and now the brand is set to bring the Moto G7 in the Indian market. The phone’s launch is teased on a Tweet from the company’s Twitter account in India. The tweet is hinted at the sole Moto G7 launch only, but there is still a possibility that the company will launch the whole G7 series at the same time.

Motorola: Price & Launch Offers
On Motorola India’s Twitter page, the company uploaded a video with hastags #stylematterstoyou and #motog7 which reveals that the brand is holding a contest with seven new Moto G7 up for grab. Users will be able to join the contest from now until 24 March. You can check out more details of the contest in the tweet below
As for the price, Motorola set the price of the Moto G7 at US$299 (around Rs. 20,600). Meanwhile, the Moto G7 Power costs US$249 (around Rs. 17,100), and the Moto G7 Play is offered for US$199 (around Rs. 13,700). The prices of the G7 in India should not be too different from the above price.
Moto G7: Specifications & Features
The handset sports a 6.24-inch FHD+ Max Vision display with a water-drop notch on top, an aspect ratio of 19:9, and Gorilla Glass 3. Powering the handset is an octa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM/64GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD slot up to 128GB.

On the imaging front, it features a dual rear camera system, including a 12MP f/1.8 primary sensor and a 5MP f/2.2 secondary depth sensor with support for Google Lens that allows users to search for information of an object by targeting the camera at it. It is also supported by High-Resolution zoom which is claimed to offer better quality than the digital zoom. Up front, there will be an 8MP camera for taking selfies and video calling.
As for the battery, it packs a 3,000mAh cell with support for 15W Turbo Power charging standard and a USB Type-C port. Its security measures include a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear and Facial Recognition feature. Even though it is not IP certified but it still has a water-repellent design that helps it resist water and spills.
