Motorola is expected to unveil its Moto G8 series at MWC 2020. Recently, renders of the Moto G8 and G8 Power have revealed their full design. Both of them are shown to sport a punch-hole display and a rear-placed fingerprint reader. Now, the Moto G8 Power is listed on Geekbench. According to the listing, the handset might be driven by an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz and 4GB of RAM. However, we believe that it should arrive in another variant with 6GB of RAM. The handset scored 311 and 1,352 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. These scores are at the same level as Snapdragon 665-powered smartphones. Moreover, it is listed to run Android 10 as well.
Moto G8 Power: Expected specifications
The Moto G8 Power is said to sport a 6.36-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole to house a camera for selfies and video chats. The variant we see on the Geekbench listing could be its base variant, which will come with 64GB of storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card. For security, previously leaked renders show that the phone will carry a rear-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric security. Fueling the whole thing could be a beefy battery with 5,000mAh capacity.

For optics, it is tipped to feature quad rear cameras that include a 16MP main sensor alongside 2MP + 8MP + 16MP sensors. For selfies, it could carry a 25MP shooter on the front. For now, we haven’t got any information about the Moto G8 Power price. However, we have heard that it might come in Dark Blue and Black colors.
These are all we have got about the Moto G8 Power so far. Since it is tipped to be unveiled at MWC 2020, which will take place from 24 February to 27 February. It is not too far from now so we expect to get more details in the coming days.
