Recently, rumors suggested that Motorola is working on the Moto G8 Power and Moto G8. Now, the brand is also tipped to be developing a new Moto smartphone with a stylus dubbed Moto G Stylus. Renders of the phone recently shared online and now all of its specs have been revealed by XDA Developers thanks to an unnamed source.

Moto G Stylus: Expected specifications
As per the report, the upcoming Moto G Stylus will sport a 6.36-inch FHD+ display. Powering the device will likely be a Snapdragon 665 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. To take care of the software side of things, it will ship with Android 10 pre-installed. For security, there will be a fingerprint reader mounted at the back of the phone. Under the hood, it is said to get a 5,000 mAh battery that only supports a standard 10W charging solution.

Camera-wise, the device will be equipped with a triple camera cluster on the rear. The setup will reportedly include a 48MP main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with Motorola’s Action Cam features, an f/2.2 aperture and a 117-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Motorola first introduced its Action Cam feature on the Motorola One Action and it seems to be used on more smartphones in the near future. On the front, it will feature a punch-hole, housing a 25MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Interestingly, the unnamed source cited in XDA Developer suggests that there will be an app accompanying the stylus and every time the stylus is removed, the app will launch a particular app or do a specific action. The phone will also come with an app called Moto Note, allowing users to create doodles, illustrations or take a quick note. The report claims that the app paired with the stylus can remember the last location and time when the stylus was removed. In addition, if it is separated from the phone for too long, the app will notify users to prevent the stylus from getting lost.
