After the Galaxy Note 9 launch earlier in the year, the rumors about the next smartphone in the Galaxy S series, Samsung Galaxy S10, started to emerge from many Chinese sources. And just now, around 3 months away from Samsung revealing its next flagship smartphone, there is a fresh leak dropped which shows us a good idea of what the Galaxy S10 will look like.
We already know that the Korean giant will release a few variants of its Galaxy S10, including the Lite, regular and Plus options -- which will vary in features, design, and size. The biggest device out of the three is the Galaxy S10 Plus, with a 6.4-inch display, while the regular and Lite Galaxy S10 option will feature a 6.1-inch and 5.8-inch screens, respectively. All of the models will feature a multiple main camera setup --- 2 two for the Lite variant and three for the regular and Plus models.
It seems like Samsung is trying to follow Apple by opting for a third and more affordable variant in its flagship lineup. But different from the iPhone XR, the Galaxy S10 Lite most likely sports an OLED instead of the LCD display on the XR, which means that all three S10 models will have a very high-quality display with 2K+ resolution.
With a massive number of leaks for the upcoming flagship devices of Samsung, we are able to compile a list of specification, display, features and more about them, giving us a good look of the Galaxy S10.
And even more information on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus just came from an anonymous source.
Display
The regular and plus models of the Galaxy S10 will both feature the latest display of Samsung, Infinity-O, which the is high-res AMOLED panel with a hole for accommodating a selfie camera or cameras in the Galaxy S10 Plus. They still have very thin bezels at both top and bottom.
Design
The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus will have a similar design, including the new Infinity-O display and triple rear main camera setup. However, a significant difference between them, besides size, is while the Galaxy S10 will only have one camera in the front circular hole, the S10 Plus will feature a bigger and oval-shaped hole accommodating two selfies cameras.
In terms of dimensions and display size, the Galaxy S10 has a 6.1-inch display, and its dimensions are 148.9 x 70.9 x 7.8mm, while the Galaxy S10 Plus comes with a bigger 6.4-inch screen and dimensions of 157.7 x 75 x 7.8mm.
Cameras
The regular Galaxy S10 sports one front-facing camera and triple rear camera setup, while there are two selfie sensors and a triple rear camera system on the Galaxy S10 Plus. The main cameras of both phones are expected to be the same. Meanwhile, the Lite model is expected to feature only one front-facing camera and two rear sensors.
There are also some rumors suggesting the Galaxy S10 Plus to come with a quad camera setup, similar to the recent Samsung Galaxy A9, but if the source is correct, it will be a triple camera system on both the regular and Plus models.
Connectivity and Ports
The Galaxy S10 will have a 3.5mm audio jack despite previous leaks suggesting otherwise. Although many phone producers have followed Apple to remove the headphone jack from their devices, Samsung still decides to keep it in the upcoming Galaxy S10 lineup. However, it may be the last flagship to feature the audio jack.
The upcoming flagship is going to support Bluetooth 5.0, and some rumors even suggest a forth on the line with support for the future 5G, though it is just a speculation.
