Known as the Redmi 6 Pro in China, the Mi A2 Lite runs Android One instead of MIUI like the Redmi 6 Pro.
Mi A2 Lite price in India: design and build
The Mi A2 Lite looks a lot like the Mi A2. The most notable difference between these two smartphones is that the Mi A2 Lite doesn’t have the screen notch of the Mi A2.
The phone has a metal body instead of plastic one of the cheaper models. It is easy to notice a ridge between the screen’s metal frame and plastic bezel. At the rear, there are top and bottom end caps made of plastic to improve cellular signal.
At the back of the smartphone is the fingerprint scanner just like that of the Mi A2 and the Redmi 6. The dual-camera set up is placed vertically with the LED flash.
The speaker grille, instead of being rear-facing like on the 6 and 6A, is now at the bottom edge. The drilled holes are at both sides of the Micro-USB port. There is only one speaker. One of the two mics of the phone is concealed by a row of holes.
The phone’s SIM card tray is enlarged so that it can now house both two Nano SIMs and a microSD card. It is impressive, given the fact that the phone already has 64GB of internal storage.
The Mi A2 Lite is a bit taller than other Xiaomi’s cheaper models. The battery is boost from 3,000mAh off the 6 or 6A to 4,000mAh. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite also features a larger screen of 5.84 inches but it is still a fraction smaller than the 5.99-inch screen of the Mi A2.
Whereas both the Xiaomi 6 and 6A come with HD panels, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is equipped with a 19:9 fullHD+ display. At the top houses a notch, similar to that of the Mi 8. The notch includes the sensors, the earpiece, and the front-facing camera.
For a budget phone, the screen of the hone has fantastic quality. Its IPS display technology offers realistic colors, maximum brightness, and excellent clarity. The bottom bezel of the Mi A2 Lite is fairly chunky although all the buttons for navigation are onscreen. Overall, the phone looks great and feels great, not much like a flagship but definitely more than a budget phone. Compared to the 6 and 6A, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite has a bigger, higher-resolution screen as well as a more powerful Qualcomm processor.

Some of the missing apps include Dual Apps and Second Space. Dual Apps lets you run two individual apps while Second Space allows you to create a sperate environment. This is actually handy if there is someone else using your phone.
