Meizu Note 9 With 48MP Camera, Snapdragon 675, 4,000mAh Battery Launched

Meizu just announced the Meizu Note 9 with a 48MP camera, Snapdragon 675 SoC, and 4,000mAh battery in the Chinese market.

After all the rumors and leaks, the Meizu Note 9 finally launches in the Chinese market in the mid-range phone segment. The new Meizu handset is released as a successor to the Meizu Note 8 launched last year. Highlights of the phone include a 48MP rear sensor on the dual rear camera setup. Additionally, it packs the latest mid-range SoC from Qualcomm and also a large battery with support for fast charging standard.

Meizu Note 9: Price & Availability
Meizu offers the Note 9 in the Chinese market at CNY 1,398 (around Rs. 14,650) for the option with 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage and CNY 1,598 (around Rs. 16,700) for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage model. Interestingly, the Meizu Note 9 also comes in another variant for the same price as the 6GB RAM/64GB storage one at CNY 1,598 that packs 4GB of RAM and double the storage at 128GB. So you will have the option to choose between more storage or more RAM for the same price.
In terms of color options, it comes in White, Black, and Sparking Blue with a gradient rear finish. It will be up for sale in China from 11 March while the launch date for the Indian market is still unknown.
Meizu Note 9: Specs & Features
The handset runs Flyme OS 7.2 which is based on the latest Android 9.0 Pie at launch. It sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ display that covers 89.23 percent of the front with a water-drop notch on top housing a selfie camera. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD slot. The chipset is also backed by a Hyper Gaming feature to boost the overall performance of the device.

In terms of camera, it comes with a dual rear camera setup, including a 48MP Samsung GM1 main sensor and a 5MP secondary depth sensor as well as a LED Flash for taking photos in low-light conditions. On the front, there will be a 20MP selfie camera which is backed by features and AI such as the dual night scene mode to improve the photo quality.

The handset will be backed by a 4,000 mAh cell with support for 18W mCharge fast charging standard. Other notable features include Face ID and a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear, an audio jack, USB-C port, dual-SIM slot, and other standard connectivity options.
