Meizu is about to release a new smartphone called Meizu 17th in China soon. Ahead of the official launch, new details about the phone keep showing up online. A new render of the Meizu 17th has been posted online, showing the entire design of Meizu’s upcoming flagship device. It is clearly shown that the Meizu 17th will feature a punch-hole design, which has been used widely by many smartphones on their recent flagships. However, this new render actually shows a different design compared to the previous one.

You can easily spot the difference between the new render (above) and the previous render (below). The punch-hole has been moved from the center to the top left corner. In addition, the previous render shows a circular camera module, while the new render suggests a different camera placement. Either way, the handset is both shown to feature a quad-camera cluster on the rear. However, it starts to be confusing again as it was said to feature triple cameras, including a 100MP main sensor and two 20MP sensors. Moreover, another render showed the device with a full-screen display.

Moving to the hardware specifications, the handset will likely sport an OLED panel with FHD+ (1,080 x 2,206p) resolution, but the display size is unknown for now. At the helm, it should be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 SoC and pre-installed with Android 10-based FlymeOS 8.
Since this new leak is not in line with previous ones, you should take it with a grain of salt. The Meizu 17th launch date is expected to be happening soon. Therefore, we expect to get more details about the phone in the upcoming days.
