Meizu M6T, Meizu C9, Meizu M16th Released In India: Specs, Price, And Features

On Wednesday, Meizu, the Chinese smartphone maker, just announced its re-entry to India by launching three new handsets, the entry-level Meizu C9, the Meizu M6T (a rebranded model of the Meizu 6T) and the Meizu M16th (a rebranded variant of the Meizu 16). The Meizu M6T and the Meizu M16th were already revealed in the Chinese market, while the Mizu C9 was just introduced at a release event in New Delhi. Along with a new handset, Meizu also released two new Bluetooth earphones for the Indian market.
Meizu M6T, Meizu M16th, and Meizu C9: price, availability and launch offers
The Meizu M6T is priced at Rs. 7,999 in the Indian market for the variant of 3GB of RAM/32GB of storage. It will come in two color variants which are Rose Gold and Black. On the other hand, the Meizu M16th, flagship smartphone of Meizu, is priced at Rs. 39,999 for its only variant of 8GB of RAM/128GB of internal storage. Finally, Meizu will sell its Meizu C9 at a price of Rs. 4,999 for a special limited period only on Amazon India.
Two color variants of the Meizu M6T
Meizu will only offer these three new handsets exclusively on Amazon.in. The Meizu C9 will be available from 4 pm IST on 5 December, while the release date of the Meizu M6T and M16th are still unknown but it should be pretty soon.
The launch offers include a cashback of Rs. 2,200 and also 100GB data on the network of Reliance Jio for the flagship Meizu M16th. The same cashback policy applies the same for the Meizu C9 and Meizu M6T, but the additional data is half of that of the Meizu M6T, which is up to 50B.
Meizu also released its Meizu POP wireless earphones in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 6,999, while its EP52 Lite Bluetooth pair is priced at Rs. 1,999. Both of those pairs will soon be available only in online retail channels.

Meizu M6T, Meizu M16th, and Meizu C9: Specifications
The Meizu M6T runs Android 8 Oreo along with Flyme OS of Meizu. It also features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device sports a MediaTek MT6750 SoC along with 3GB RAM/32GB storage.
For the camera aspect, the handset comes with a dual rear camera system with a 13MP f2.2 main sensor and a 2MP secondary f2.0 depth sensor. For the front-facing camera, the device sports an 8MP f2.0 sensor. It’s powered by a 3,300 mAh battery and weighs 145 grams.
The Meizu M16th supports dual-SIM feature and runs Android 8 Oreo along with Meizu’s Flyme OS. The Meizu flagship features a 6-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm’s flagship SoC, Snapdragon 845 with an Adreno 630 GPU, 8GB RAM as well as 128GB storage.
The Meizu M16th features a dual rear camera system including a 12MP main Sony IMX380 sensor and also a secondary 20MP telephoto sensor. For the front-facing camera, the phone has a 20MP sensor, which Meizu claims to be the smallest 20MP camera in the world.
The connectivity options of the Meizu flagship are Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5,0 with aptX, USB Type-C port, GPS and a headphone jack.
Finally, the Meizu C9, which also supports dual-SIM feature, runs a stock Android 8 Oreo and features a 5.45-inch HD+ screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device comes with a Spreadtrum 9832E SoC along with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Buyers will have the option to expand its storage via microSD slot (128GB maximum).
In terms of camera, the Meizu C9 features only a 13MP rear f2.2 camera sensor with a 5-element lens and also an LED flash. For the front-facing camera, the device has an 8MP f2.2 sensor and Face Unlock system. Its connectivity options are Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth v4.1. And it is backed up by a 3,000 mAh battery.
Meizu EP52 Lite and Meizu POP features
As we just mentioned, the Meizu also released its two new Bluetooth earphones in the Indian market. The Meizu EP52 Lite has features like a 10mm bio-fiber diaphragm, 200-hours standby time and IPx5 water resistance. Meanwhile, the wireless Meizu POP features a 700 mAh battery, a USB Type-C port and support for wireless charging as well.
