HMD Global is expected to hold an event at MWC 2020 on 23 February. The company will likely release its Nokia 400 4G feature phone, Nokia 1.3, Nokia 5.2, and Nokia 8.2 5G. Now, ahead of the official event, a photo of a mysterious Nokia smartphone believed to be the Nokia 5.2 has been shared online by leaker Evan Blass. The photo shows that the phone will come with a water-drop notch display just like the Nokia 4.2. In addition, it will rock a quad rear camera cluster housed in a circular camera module. Moreover, we also see a fingerprint reader mounted on the back of this phone, right below the camera module. It seems like the rear panel is made of frosted glass or plastic with curved edges.
The Nokia 5.2, which will likely be a part of the Android One program, is expected to come with a stock version of Android 10 pre-installed. Evan Blass also suggests that the phone will pack 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Interestingly, the leaker says that the codename of the phone will be Captain America. Finally, his Tweet ends with the possible price of the phone. The Nokia 5.2 could be priced at $180 (roughly Rs. 12,800) and released on 4 March. Previous rumors tipped that the handset could get power from a Snapdragon 632 chipset, sport a 6.2-inch screen, and an 8MP selfie camera. Since MWC 2020 even is just a few weeks away from now, you should take these with a grain of salt and wait for further details.
Aside from the Nokia 5.2, the Nokia 8.2 5G is also expected to make its debut later this month. The handset has been rumored to carry a Snapdragon 765G chipset with an integrated 5G modem. In addition, it is tipped to carry a 6.2-inch screen that supports HRD 10+, four cameras on the rear with a 64MP main sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera housed on a pop-up module. The Nokia 8.2 5G price could start from €459 (roughly Rs. 36,000).
