The Lenovo Z5s phone is about to be released on 18 December. And similar to other phone brands, Lenovo has also teased its upcoming handset and its features. In the most recent teaser, some new details of the Z5s have been shared by the Lenovo Group Vice President, Chang Cheng. If it is translated correctly, the Chinese line on the Lenovo teaser should say that the upcoming Lenovo device will have over 8GB RAM, which possibly means 10GB RAM.
But the Lenovo Z5s won’t be the first device to feature 10GB RAM, as you can already get 10GB RAM on the Mi MIX 3, Oppo Find X and OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. It is suggested on the teaser that the Z5s will most likely a gaming phone, and will have support for 2 personal assistants, according to GizmoChina.
Cheng also posted three sample photos taken by the Z5s and two of those have been taken in portrait mode. Judging by the watermark on those three photos, the Z5s's camera is most likely backed by AI intelligence as well.
In terms of specifications, the handset most likely sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is also expected to come with a triple camera setup and an in-screen front camera and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security. It will also be packed with a 3,210 mAh battery.
The Z5s will feature a triple camera setup
The previous teaser also reveals the Lenovo Z5s might come with a Snapdragon 678 SoC which has not been officially announced yet. The teaser also reveals that the device will run the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box.
We speculate that its chipset might feature two powerful Kryo 365 Gold chips, judging by the device’s single-core results, and 6 other power-efficient cores. Its multi-core performance is close to the performance on the Snapdragon 710.
Fortunately, you will not have to wait for long to know more about this handset as it will soon be introduced on 18 December.
