Huawei Nova 4e With Kirin 710 SoC & Triple Rear Cameras Launched In China

Huawei just launched the Huawei Nova 4e in the Chinese market with in-house Kirin 710 SoC, triple camera setup, and 32MP selfie camera.

Huawei just announced a new addition to its mobile portfolio in its home market China. The new addition, Huawei Nova 4e, is a lower version of the Huawei Nova 4 that launched in the end of last year. This new Huawei Nova 4e features a dewdrop notched display instead of the hole-punch design on the Nova 4. Under the hood, it packs a Huawei’s Kirin 710 SoC. Other notable features include a triple camera setup on the rear, the latest Android 9.0 Pie, and support for fast charging. Additionally, the Huawei Nova 4e is said to come to the global market as the Huawei P30 Lite and it will be an entry-level device in the flagship Huawei P30 series, which will be announced on 26 March in Paris.
Huawei Nova 4e: Price & Release date
The Nova 4e is priced at CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 20,600) for the base variant with 4GB of RAM/128GB of storage, while the top-end option with 6GB RAM/128GB storage will set you back by CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 23,700). Huawei offers the phone in a total of three color options, including Black, White, and Gradient Blue. Consumers can now pre-order the phone from today or grab one in China from 21 March.
Huawei Nova 4e: Specifications & Features
The Nova 4e packs a 6.15-inch FHD+ LCD display with a water-drop notch for housing the selfie sensor. Under the hood, it is powered by a Huawei’s Kirin 710 chipset, backed 6GB RAM/128GB storage which is expandable via a microSD slot. As for the software, it runs the Android 9-based EMUI 9.0.1.
Moving to the imaging front, the Nova 4e features a triple camera setup at the back, including a 24MP main sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, a 2MP secondary depth-sensing shooter, and an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens. Up front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The camera setups are supported by some features such as AR stickers, a feature similar to Google Lens that allows the phone to identify objects in the user’s surroundings. Huawei also adds its AI algorithm to improve the photo quality as well.
Additionally, it is powered by a 3,340 mAh cell with support for fast charging via USB-C port. As for security, there is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear. Other notable features including an ‘imaging recording’ feature, GPU Turbo 2.0 to improve the gaming experience. Lastly, Huawei also equips it with a feature ‘Video Ringtone’ instead of just basic ringtone for notifying incoming calls.
