Google To Launch Two Pixel Phones With Pixel 3A, Pixel 3A XL Monikers, Key Specs & Features Leaked

The next Google Pixel series has already been featured on leaks and rumors for a long time. Recently, the newly-released leak revealed that Google is planning to launch two affordable Pixel smartphones, dubbed the Pixel 3A and the Pixel 3A XL. Previously, these smartphones were said to have other names of the Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3XL Lite. According to a 9to5Google’s report, which cites from relevant sources, the search engine giant plans to choose the Pixel 3A as well as Pixel 3A XL monikers. These two handsets are expected to come to the affordable segment. Recently, an Android Q beta code suggested the Pixel 3A Lite name.
Google Pixel 3A & Pixel 3A XL: Specifications
Regarding their specifications, the standard model will sport a 5.6-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution (2220x1080 pixels) and the pixel density of 440ppi. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM. However, there is no information about the device’s storage being revealed. On the imaging front, the handset probably features a 12MP rear sensor along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Powering the device is a battery with a capacity of 3,000mAh. While the bigger variant, Pixel 3A XL, might sport a 6-inch screen and have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM.
Both upcoming Pixel series smartphones will be available in two colour options including Just White and Clearly White. Additionally, the device could have 64GB storage, support the 18W fast charging solution, and USB-C port. As for their designs, two devices could bear the same design as the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL. Also, according to the report, the upcoming Pixel 3A’s camera quality is similar to that of high-end the Pixel 3, but its camera application falters. Meanwhile, there has been no information about the upcoming XL model.
Google Pixel 3A, Pixel 3A XL: Expected Price & Launch Date
The two phones are said to support eSIM like the latest iPhone lineup. Also, both devices will be equipped with the Titan M chip of Google as well. Besides, according to the report, the new renders of two smartphones exactly describe their design.
As for their launched, they are said to be offered via Verizon in the U.S. The search engine giant could officially unveil them this Spring. Additionally, both smartphones will have the prices which are lower than that of the Google Pixel 3/ Pixel 3 XL, and even iPhone XR. It is expected that the standard model will be priced US$400 - US$500 (Rs. 28,000 – Rs. 35,000 roughly).
