The entry-level Nokia C1 has been announced at an incredibly affordable price. The handset mostly targets the markets in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. Being a smartphone with a price tag of around Rs. 4,100, the Nokia C1 sadly doesn’t support the 4G LTE network, but it has a button to activate Google Assistant. It also comes with a headphone jack, FM radio support, and dual-SIM slot. However, there will also be a single SIM version if you don’t need to use two SIM cards.

The price of the Nokia C1 in Kenya is set at 5,999 KES (roughly Rs. 4,200) in two color variants, Red and Black.

The Nokia C1’s front is covered by a 5.45” FWVGA screen with a resolution of 960 x 480p and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Powering the device is a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset, aided by up to 1GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. If you want to expand the storage, the phone has a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB. Software-wise, it comes with Go Edition of Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Camera-wise, there is a single 5MP sensor at the back of the phone with an LED flash and auto-focus. On the front, it gets a 5MP camera with an LED flash for video chats and selfies. The phone measures 147.6x71.4x8.7mm and weighs 155g. Under the hood, the brand packs it with a 2,500 mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, and 3G.
