A few pieces of information relating to the Korean model of the upcoming Galaxy S10 5G have just surfaced online.
The Galaxy S10 5G, spotted by Dealntech, will come in two memory options, 256GB or 512GB. Moreover, this version will have slightly different weight and dimensions compared to the global model. While the global model measures 162.6x77.1x7.9mm and weighs 198 grams, the upcoming version in Korea will weigh 208 grams and measure 162.2x77.1x7.8mm. Even though these differences are pretty minimal, they are still changes which indicate the Korean market will welcome a different model instead of a singly model for every market.
Powering the handset will still be a 4,500mAh cell as revealed earlier on the global model. So, what is the possible reason for the differences in weight and dimensions? WeTags believe it is because while other markets will be offered Galaxy S10 5G with a Qualcomm processor and X50 mode., the Korean option will be equipped with Samsung-made Exynos processor and a different 5G modem.
The Korean model is said to come in a total of three color options which are Crown Silver, Royal Gold, and Majestic Black and they all pack 8GB of RAM/256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the option with 8GB RAM/512GB while the 8GB RAM/512GB storage will be offered in Crown Silver, but the leaked photos don’t clearly show whether the variant will be offered in the Majestic Black color option or not.
As for cameras, the handset will likely have the same triple rear camera setup as on the Samsung Galaxy S10+ with an additional ToF camera. The setup includes a 16MP f/2.2 camera and an ultra-wide lens, the 12MP wide camera with DPAF and a variable aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4, a 12MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and a ToF depth unit with an f/1.9 aperture.
The Galaxy S10 5G will be officially unveiled in the South Korean market on 5 April, and it is said to be priced at more than $1,200 (Rs. 83,300).
