Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has so far released high-end phones with top-end chipsets from Qualcomm and MediaTek. Now, it seems like the brand is eyeing for the mid-range segment. The brand’s first mid-range smartphone will reportedly be called iQOO Z1x.
The launch of the iQOO Z1x has been confirmed by the Chinese brand to take place on 9th July. It was also revealed to feature the Snapdragon 765G SoC. Now, iQOO has shared a new teaser poster, confirming several more details of the forthcoming device.
With the Snapdragon 765G, the iQOO Z1x will likely support the 5G network. The poster also reveals that the phone will sport a 120Hz display, but its size is still under wraps. Previously leaked renders of the phone already suggest that the handset could come in three color variants - White, Blue, and Black. It might feature a 6.57-inch IPS LCD panel with the punch-hole style. It will reportedly run on Android 10-based iQOO UI and feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In terms of camera, rumor has it that iQOO will pack three sensors at the back of the phone, including a 48MP main sensor and two 2MP units. Upfront, there will likely be a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls. As for the price, it is still unknown but should be priced around CNY 2,000 (about Rs. 21,000).
