The iQOO 3, one of the most interesting smartphones to launch this month, will officially make its debut in India on 25 February. The handset is the first smartphone launched by Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO in India. It will also arrive as India’s first phone with a Snapdragon 865 chipset. Now, a new set of photos on Weibo reveals not only the rear panel of the phone but also some of its key specs.
According to the alleged teaser posters of the iQOO 3, the phone will support the new 55W Super FlashCharge standard (claimed to charge 50 percent of the battery in just 15 minutes) and carry a 4,440 mAh battery. In addition, the photos also show a quad-camera setup on the rear, which will include a 48MP main sensor. The photo doesn’t give us the front design of the phone but it is tipped to feature an AMOLED display with the popular punch-hole design.
In addition, the iQOO 3 is shown with a quad rear camera cluster that is housed in an L-shaped module. The setup will comprise a 48MP main sensor and a depth-sensing camera. The other two units could be a telephoto/macro camera and a wide-angle camera. On the photo, it seems the handset is in either Grey or Dark Blue color with a unique pattern. The fingerprint sensor is not available at the back of the phone and that hints at an under-display fingerprint reader. We can see an orange-accented power button on the right spine while it is clear that the phone will have a speaker grille and a USB-C port at the bottom.
Apart from these new details, the iQOO 3 specifications have also been said to include Snapdragon 865 chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 5G connectivity. The iQOO 3 launch date is 25 February and we hope to get more information about the phone ahead of its official launch.

iQOO 3: Specifications & Features
The device sports a 6.44” Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole in the top right corner. The display also covers 91.40 of the front panels and supports HDR 10+. For security, the phone gets an under-display fingerprint reader that is touted to unlock the handset in just 0.29 seconds. Sadly, despite the competition heading toward a high refresh rate display, the iQOO 3’s display still only has a 60Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch response. At the helm, it rocks the powerful Snapdragon 865 chipset, aided by up to 12GB LDPPR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The device is equipped with ‘4D Game Vibration’ and ‘Monster Touch Buttons’ features. While the former is claimed to offer a much better gaming experience, the latter are two pressure-sensitive buttons on the side that can help users to achieve quick multi-finger operations in games.
Moving to the imaging front, it gets a triple camera cluster that comprises a 48MP Sony IMX582 main sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens with 20x digital zoom, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 13MP wide-angle camera. On the front, there is a 16MP snapper for video calls and selfies housed in the front punch-hole. Camera features include Super Night mode, Portrait mode, AI sticker, Slow-mo, 4K video recording @ 60fps, and Super Anti Shake.
4,400 mAh is the battery capacity of the iQOO 3 and it supports 55W fast charging solution, which can fuel the device to 50% in 15 minutes. Connectivity options include a headphone jack, GPS / GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.1, Type-C port, 4G / 5G network, and Wi-Fi. Other features are Eye protection mode, Ultra Game Mode, Smart Split, and Hi-risk Audio.
