iPhone 12 Mini Beats iPhone 12 Pro Max In Performance And Experts Don't Know Why

iPhone 12 Mini might be the smallest in the lineup but it doesn’t mean it lacks power or astonishment.

According to recent performance results, the Mini beats iPhone 12, 12 Pro, and even 12 Pro Max.

Who would have thought a phone that isn’t positioned as a premium device can achieve such an impressive performance?

iPhone 12 Mini gets 4,123 in multi-core Geekbench 5. This performance is better than that of iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12, which get for themselves a score of 4,111, 3,669, and 3,859 respectively.

iPhone 12 Mini shares lots of resemblances with its siblings, including a Ceramic Shield display, Super Retina XDR OLED screen, and the square appearance. Under the hood, it shares the same A14 Bionic chip with the rest of the lineup but the Mini manages to leave all of them behind when it comes to overall performance.

The Mini features RAM of 4GB, the same as the iPhone 12. However, it’s worth pointing out that the Pro and Pro Max variants sport 6GB, and yet they are still outperformed.

While 454 points aren’t too alarming, the delta makes us wonder why there is such a distinction between the iPhone 12 Mini and its more expensive siblings.

Apple is serious when it said the A14 Bionic chip is the world’s most powerful, other Geekbench and 3DMark scores can attest. iPhone 12 lineup beats other high-end smartphones by a large margin and now we know another fact – iPhone 12 Mini is the best of all.

The Mini does have a telephoto camera and it lacks the LiDAR scanner and the triple-camera setup too. However, its power can definitely rival its premium siblings in the iPhone 12 lineup.
