You Can Now Buy The First Wireless Charging Case For The iPhone 11

Last month, Apple announced its latest iPhone lineup for 2019, including the standard iPhone 11, the higher-end 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. Just a day after the event, which took place at the Steve Jobs Theater (Cupertino, California, US), a third-party company unveiled its new phone battery case made for the smartphones. And the Mophie battery case went on sale on Wednesday at a price of Rs 7,093, offering variants for all the three iPhones.

Apple hasn’t announced new updates for its own Smart Battery Case to serve the new iPhone models, which means Mophie is the first player in the market to have the offering, 9to5Mac reported. Regardless of which model of the iPhone 11 lineup you’ve got, you still pay Rs 7,093. Currently, the wireless charging case comes in blush pink, and black while the red option will come out soon, the release said.

The new juice pack access battery case from Mophie relies on Qi wireless charging technology for powering the new Apple phones so users can use the Lightning port for listening to music, taking calls, as well as charging their EarPods, as pointed out in the release.

Packed in the Mophie case versions for the standard and the Pro model is a 2,000mAh battery. Meanwhile, the case for the 11 Pro Max comes with a 2,200mAh battery. Additionally, there’s a USB-C port built in the cases for users to recharge both the phone and the juice pack itself. With Priority Plus charging ability, the power will come to the phone first then to the case, according to the release.

As touted by Apple, the iPhone 11 lineup has longer battery lives than last year’s models, with an addition of up to five hours for the Pro Max.

Plus, the Mophie cases come with a two-year warranty.
