Indian Smartphone Users Have 51 Applications Installed On Average

techARC has reported that an Indian smartphone user installs 51 mobile applications on average.

According to a report titled "techARC DIGIT" on Wednesday, the number of smartphone applications installed by Indian users are between 5 and 207. In addition, on average, there are 51 applications installed on one phone.
This report was published by techARC, a technology research consultancy. They found out that smartphone users do not use all the applications installed on their handset devices. Most people in India use only 24 applications on average.
This shows that many people install apps on their phones without thorough consideration or understanding.
Actually, there are many disadvantages when installing too many applications on your smartphone. Firstly, installing too many applications into smartphones will undoubtedly reduce its performance, depleting the battery cell in various ways and occupying the phone's memory. Secondly, when there are too many applications, it is very difficult for you to control and manage the phone. This will create holes in your phone and pave the way for virus or hackers to steal your information through some applications.
The research, based on the opinion of 1,000 regular users of smartphones, shows the categories of applications that Indian people access every day. The most popular application which Indian people use daily is social media applications. According to data, 76 percent of people visit social network apps every day.
In addition, mobile gaming applications are also gaining a lot of visitors every day. It ranks second after social media applications with 70 percent of people as daily visitors.

The data shows that financial applications are used by 50 percent of the population every day on mobile phones. The number of Indian people using increasingly sophisticated financial applications such as e-wallets for payment of digital transactions, banking applications, etc.
Ranked 4th on the list is entertainment applications. There is 40 percent of Indian smartphone users view daily content on various applications for live TV or video on demand (VoD).
