Huawei P40 & Huawei P40 Pro Design Revealed In New Leaked Photos

There have been a lot of leaks and rumors around the upcoming Huawei P40 series. As its official launch on 26 March is getting closer, we have started to get a much better understanding of the forthcoming offerings in the series, including Huawei P40, P40 Pro, & P40 Premium Edition. It is worth noting it excludes the recently-released Huawei P40 Lite & P40 Lite E as well as the unconfirmed Porche Design model.

For now, we have only got the chance to look at the back design of the Huawei P40 lineup, but famous leaker Even Blass just gave us several photos of the P40 & P40 Pro from both front and back. From the photos, it seems like Huawei will still use a flat display on the vanilla model and a curved one on the Pro model. However, we can’t really tell from the images that the Pro model will come with a highly-curved display like the Mate 30 Pro or not.

Apart from that, there isn’t much to tell from the leaked photos though we do notice that the P40 Pro has a slightly larger cut-out compared to the vanilla P40. Therefore, the Pro model could have larger modules. We only see the indication of an under-display fingerprint sensor on the Pro model. However, the P40 should also come with one as it has already been that way since the P30 series.

From other leaks, we have gathered a few details on the Huawei P40 series. We will see a 50MP RYYB sensor that offers better zoom and larger surface area. They should be powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 990 5G SoC and sport a 120Hz OLED panel. Recently, we also got a hint at the price of the lineup. If you want to check that out, here is the article:
