Today, a website in Greece has revealed the price of Huawei P40 smartphones in the European market, although the launch event won’t take place until March 26. The report also revealed that there will be up to four models in the series.

Specifically, the Huawei P40 price in the European market is as follows:
- P40 Lite: 329 EUR (around Rs. 27,100)
- P40 128 GB: 849 EUR (around Rs. 70,000)
- P40 Pro 256GB: 1,130 EUR (around Rs. 93,100)
We can see that the price of Huawei P40 and P40 Pro is almost similar to Apple's iPhone 11 Pro and Apple's iPhone 11 Pro Max. This might not too high of a price for newly launched high-end flagship smartphones. However, given that P40 does not have Google services installed, the price could be a bit too much.
In another leak by popular tipster RODENT950, the Huawei P40 price is a bit higher than suggested on the aforementioned leak. According to his tweet, the P40 will be priced from 899 to 999 EURO (around Rs. 74,100 to Rs. 82,300). Meanwhile, the P40 Pro will cost from EURO 999 to EURO 1,099, which is equivalent to Rs. 82,300 to Rs. 90,600. The top-end P40 Pro PE will be priced from EURO 1,199 (around Rs. 98,800) to EURO 1,299 (around Rs. 1,07,000). Anyway, you should not take these leaks too serious and better to wait for the official price on 26 March, which is less than two weeks away.
AppGallery app store is currently Huawei's solution to replace Google Play Store. Popular apps like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are reported to be available on AppGallery soon. Huawei also attracts a lot of 3rd party developers for its own ecosystem. However, whether AppGallery can replace the Google Play Store or not, we will have to wait a while longer to evaluate.
