Honor 20i Vs Redmi Note 7 Pro Vs Realme 3 Pro: The Tense Competition Under Rs 15,000

Honor rolled out its Honor 20i, but it is facing too much competition as Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 7 pro while Realme launched its Realme 3 Pro.

Recently, Honor rolled out its Honor 20i to the Indian market, but it is facing too much competition in the market because, at the same time, Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 7 pro while Realme launched its Realme 3 Pro with the same price point of Rs 14,999. In the smartphone market, these three are competing with each other.

Since Honor decided to sell the 20i at a price point lower than Rs 15,000, it is competing directly with the Note 7 Pro as well as the Realme 3 Pro. So how do these phones compare?

Display and design

The design is the same in Xiaomi's Note 7 Pro, Realme 3 Pro, and Honor 20i smartphones. All the three smartphones feature the waterdrop display, along with a full HD+ display measuring 6.3 inches. One thing which may differ is the screen quality.

The 20i is lighter and slimmer than the Realme 3 Pro and the Note 7 Pro. It is 164 grams heavy and 7.95mm thick, while Redmi Note 7 Pro is 186 grams heavy and 8.1mm thick and Realme 3 Pro has a thickness of 8.3mm and weight of 172 grams. The Redmi Note 7 Pro offers Gorilla Glass 5 for protection on its back, making it the heaviest, while the others provide curved plastic panels.

Honor offers three different colors for the 20i - Gradient Blue, Midnight Black, and Phantom Red. Meanwhile, Xiaomi's phone is available in Space Black, Nebula Red, and Neptune Blue colors; and Realme's handset comes in Nitro Blue, Lightning Purple, and Carbon Grey colors. All of them have a fingerprint sensor on the back panel. However, only the Note 7 Pro offers Type-C USB port, the others come with micro USB ports. Redmi Note 7 Pro and Honor 20i offer hybrid SIM slots, but Realme's device comes with triple SIM card dedicated to a memory card and two Nano SIMs.

Xiaomi's Note 7 Pro is the only one among these three that offers protection with Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides, while the other two sport curved plastic panels. This gives a premium feel to the phone, but all three devices look great in their own way.

Redmi Note 7 Pro gets an Adreno 612 GPU and 2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC, while the Realme 3 Pro comes with the Adreno 616 GPU and 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 710 AIE chipset; and Honor gives the 20i the Mali G51 GPU and powerful 2.2 GHz octa-core Kirin 710 processor to enhance your gaming experience, the phone also supports GPU Turbo 2.0. Battery

Battery capacity is an essential part of every handset. The Note 7 Pro offers a 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging, but you get only a 10W charger with the phone. The Honor 20i packs a 3,400mAh battery, it does not come with fast charging support, and you get a 10W charger in the shipment box, and the Realme 3 Pro comes with the highest battery capacity of 4,045mAh which supports VOOC 3.0 quick charging, and you get a 20W fast charger in the box.
