HMD Global just confirmed to attend the upcoming IFA 2019 and the brand is said to launch the Nokia 5.2, 6.2, 7.2, and 8.2 at the event.

According to HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas, the company is going to attend IFA 2019. This event will be the first IFA event that the brand is going to attend in Berlin and we believe that it might also take the chance and introduce several phones at the event as well. If the rumor is to be believed, the Nokia 5.2, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 7.2, and Nokia 8.2 might make their debut at the IFA event.

As per the invite photo, the brand’s event at IFA 2019 will take place on 5 September. Unfortunately, that invite does not reveal any clue about any phones and the company also doesn’t give us any hint at any feature at all.

As for the phones that are expected to launch at the event, the Nokia 5.2 is expected to be a low-end offering. The handset is tipped to sport a dual-camera setup, including a 48MP main camera with Zeiss optics as well as a 20MP wide-angle shooter. Housing the selfie camera is a water-drop notch on the front. It will be also likely to sport an FHD+ display with 2,340 x 1,080p resolution. Software-wise, it should ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Moving to the Nokia 6.2, it might pack a 6.0-inch Full-HD+ display with a punch-hole on top for a selfie camera. It is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 3,300 mAh battery. Similar to the Nokia 6.2, the 7.2 will also come with a water-drop notched display and be driven by the same chipset as the 6.2, the Snapdragon 660 SoC. However, it will be fueled by a larger 3,500 mAh battery.

The Nokia 8.2, on the other handset, has been rumored to come with a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. Unlike the other three, the handset is tipped to ship with the latest Android 10 Q at launch.

For now, the brand has only confirmed it would be going to the event, so you should take other information with a grain of salt.
