This year, at least 5 big companies have planned to bring their 5G smartphones to the market when realizing that 5G or the 5th generation mobile networks have become the top concern of governments, network operators, smartphone manufacturers, and policymakers. As expected, in many countries, the network connectivity will come to the public in 2020. In India, TRAI said it will be released in 2022. However, smartphone manufacturers are seemingly ready to roll out the first 5G smartphones in the first six months of 2019.

They are 5G smartphones from OnePlus, Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, and Huawei. Here are the desirable 5G smartphones you should try in 2019:
Unknown 5G Smartphone by OnePlus

The year 2019 will welcome the first 5G smartphone manufactured by OnePlus. When participating in the Snapdragon Technology Summit in Hawaii, Pete Lau, OnePlus’s CEO, confirmed the rollout of this flagship on EE, in Europe. Its price, of course, will be relatively expensive.
When being interviewed by The Verge, the CEO said the company will sell its new product for $200 or higher. The specifications of this 5G smartphone haven’t been revealed.
The 5G model of Mi Mix 3 by Xiaomi

In October of last year, Xiaomi rolled out its latest flagship smartphone called Mi Mix 3 which sports a processor of Snapdragon 845, dual cameras, a sliding design without any notch. Its RAM can reach 10GB.

Besides, the company promised to add the 5G model to the collection including the two existing variants of Mi Mix 3. This new model is supposed to own a Snapdragon 855 processor; however, its design is identical to that of a common Mi Mix 3.
Galaxy S10 Plus by Samsung

The latest model of Samsung smartphones will support the 5G network. At the Snapdragon Technology Summit which took place in Hawaii in three days, from 04 to 06 December, Verizon and Samsung revealed their plans to offer 5G smartphones to the US market at the beginning of 2019.
Although the South Korean multinational company still kept the handset’s name a secret, tech communities believe its next flagship will run on the 5G network. With the impressive specifications, the Galaxy S10 Plus may feature 02 variants with different screen sizes or it will have the third model as cited by the Wall Street Journal.
According to the WSJ’s report, Samsung will develop the only variant equipped with the 5G network. The new flagship will be first introduced at the 2019 Mobile World Congress which will take place in Spain’s city, Barcelona.
Oppo and Huawei are planning to launch their 5G smartphones
Huawei has stated that the company will plan to roll out its smartphone with 5G connectivity in the middle of this year. This 5G smartphone seems to be designed with a foldable screen.

In addition, Honor, another brand of Huawei, will introduce a 5G smartphone in the coming time. According to Pocket-Lint, George Zha, the Global President of Honor, said, “5G will be a turning point.”

Meanwhile, 5G smartphones have been a top interest of Oppo. In recent days, the company made a video call on WeChat to demo its first smartphone supporting the fifth generation of wireless connectivity. Along with other top smartphone companies in the world, Oppo won’t clearly miss the race of the latest technology.
