Just hours ago, Samsung announced the Galaxy S10 series at its Samsung Unpacked event. The series celebrating the 10th anniversary of Galaxy phones include four devices: the Galaxy S10E, the S10, the Galaxy S10 Plus, and the S10 5G.
The series is not only successors to the Galaxy S9 series of 2018 but also include one phone that enables the fifth generation network – the 5G.
The S10 and S10 Plus are the major flagships in this series. While the S10 has a 6.1-inch display, a single front-facing camera, the S10 Plus comes with a 6.4-inch screen and a dual front-facing camera setup. Both feature a triple rear camera setup. The S10 Plus’ battery is 4,100 mAh, and that of the S10 is 3,400 mAh.
This year, Samsung adds a new member to its Galaxy family, the Galaxy S10E. Despite its premium price tag at $750, the phone is more affordable compared with its fellows the S10 and S10 Plus. The S10E’s display is 5.8 inches large and its battery is 3,100 mAh. It has one front-facing camera and only two cameras on the back.
And the largest in the series, the S10 5G. With a display of 6.7 inches, the phone works on 5G mobile networks. The next generation of mobile networks will first be available on Verizon, then Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile will follow. The S10 5G also has the most rear cameras in the series, four, including one 3D Depth camera.
