Before the official release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, there are tons of rumors surrounding the two smartphones. Are these rumors accurate or not? Let's find out.
Rumors: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will have the company’s “Infinity O” display, the same one used on the Galaxy S10. The leak images of the phone suggest that on the back of the phone, there will be no fingerprint sensor. So there’s a high chance that Samsung will equip the Note 10 with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will house a triple-lens camera system.

Official launch: Both the Note 10 and Note 10+ come with the “Infinity O” display, just like how the rumors stated. With these two phones, the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor of Samsung makes a comeback, but there is a twist. The sensor is moved around 33mm upwards, making it more comfortable and easy to use. While the Note 10 has a triple-lens, the Note 10+ has a quad-camera.

Rumors: The Galaxy Note 10 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chip from Qualcomm, which is said to be slightly more powerful than the Snapdragon 855 spotted in other 2019 premium flagship Android phones. The Note 10 will come with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display, three cameras, a 3,600mAh battery, and “UFS 3.0” storage technology. The Note 10+ is said to come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, a fourth camera lens, and a 4,3000mAh battery.
Official launch: Contrary to the rumors, both the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor or Samsung Exynos 9825, not the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus. The Galaxy Note 10 features a wide-angle camera, a telephoto camera. Both are 12 megapixels and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The same lenses are on the Galaxy Note 10+ but Samsung adds in a brand new DepthVision Camera. The Note 10 has a 3,500mAh battery and the Note 10+ has a 4,300mAh camera. The Note 10 comes with a 6.3-inch display while the Note 10+ comes with a larger 6.8-inch display. Both phones have UFS 3.0 storage.

Rumors: The leaks suggest that the Note models will see an upgrade from the 15W charger to the 25W charger. The Galaxy Note 10 is said to support 45W charging as well as 15W of Power Share.
Official launch: The rumors turn out to pretty accurate. The Galaxy Note 10 indeed does support 25 charging. However, it is the Note 10+ that gets the 45W charging. But both phones will be delivered with a 25W charger. Users who want the 45W charger will need to make a separate purchase. Samsung has also upgraded fast wireless charging speeds with the Note 10 supports 12W fast wireless charging while the Note 10+ supports 15W.

Rumors: Both phones are going to be expensive. It’s estimated that the Galaxy Note 10 won’t have a cheaper price than the Note 9. The starting price of Note 9 was $1,000. So it’s possible that this will be the starting price tag for the Note 10 as well. The Galaxy Note 10+ will likely to be more expensive than the Note 10.
Official launch: The price for Note 10 is $949 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage version. The Note 10+ is priced at $1,099 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. You can get 512 of storage for $100 more.

Rumors: There are a lot of rumors going back and forth between whether Samsung will ditch the headphone jack or note. If the prediction from YouTube channel “Front Page Tech” is true, then it’s unlikely for the Galaxy Note 10 to have a headphone jack.
Official launch: Brace yourself as the headphone jack has been killed off in both the Note 10 and the Note 10+. So, the rumor from “Front Page Tech” is actually accurate.

Galaxy Note 10 is an Android-based smartphone, produced and marketed by Samsung Electronics that was released on August 7, 2019. The Galaxy Note 10 has 8GB RAM, 256 GB storage, 3,500 mAh battery and a 6.3 inch, 2280x1080 dynamic AMOLED display. Starting price of Galaxy Note 10 is $949.
