For most people, the top priority thing coming to their checklist when buying a new phone are price and camera. Unfortunately, these factors are clearly not enough to evaluate a phone, especially on the tech side. We are buying a phone, not a camera in the form of a phone. The phone has a lot more functions that need to be check for than just a camera pixels. Then, in our suggestion, display quality and features are worth to be on top of your must-check list instead.
It is a phone, not just a camera
First, clearing your mind that we all want to have a smartphone with a high-quality camera. The camera is important but cannot be everything we look for in a phone. Indeed, we do a lot of thing with a phone than just taking photo or video. We scroll through information, surf web and even watch movies in it. Some of us use a smartphone to work or study or research.
So, in the long run, we need a high-def display, even more than a high pixel camera. So, display quality comes first. Even if you are such a fan of the camera, you will need a sharp display quality to experience a vivid high-quality of your taken photos.
Poor displays will drain out your battery

Not to mention that display quality directly affect your battery life. Screen drains your phone’s energy even when it is standby. Of course, you can manualize the screen feature to optimize it over your phone’s battery, but some default features like the backlight are the thing that you simply cannot adjust as your wish. In this case, instead of choosing an LCD screen with its energy-consuming black backlight, you can choose a battery-savior like an AMOLED screen which lights on a standby screen only, not the entire screen.
Vivid color and while the light will strain your eyes.
Most of the smartphone nowadays use either LCD or AMOLED display. An LCD will bring in extremely white light while the AMOLED produces a more natural saturated light. Therefore, you need a color scale feature on your new phone. This feature allows you to turn off the vivid color causing strain to your eye while using the phone. An AMOLED, on the other hand, can enhance your display experience with a strain-free mode of vivid color and deeper contrast as well.
Don’t forget the durability
You are already looking for a new phone, and because of that, you won’t want to look for another change too soon, right? No one does. Some phones with a gorilla-classed glass can survive after being knocked, bumped or even threw away. Or you can check up for some words like IP67 or IP68 on the feature listed by the phone manufacturer. These keywords represent the ability to against water and dust of your phone.

In case you want a sturdy smartphone which is good in the display, great in camera, fast in charging and latest in features, OnePlus 7 is just right for you. It has an AMOLED display, guaranteed your smooth screen experience and won’t drain your phone’s energy out too fast. The price of this masterpiece isn’t as high as its quality. It is a super budget-friendly model with under Rs 4,00,00 for a base variant of OnePlus 7 and around Rs 5,00,00 for a OnePlus 7 Pro.
