On the other hand, budget phones are getting better and better, not only can they meet your everyday needs like texting and calling but some even carry high-end features for more tasks.
And if you’re looking or an affordable phone to buy, or just curious about what’s on the market, here are the best smartphone under 7000 in India 2019.
Xiaomi Redmi 7 (Rs 6,999) best mobile phones under 7000
This phone is a major upgrade that Xiaomi has made to its low-cost Redmi phone series. Compared with the Redmi 6, the Redmi 7 features a larger display, a more powerful chip, as well as a new plastic body which you can opt for gradient finish. The phone is likely to have all the specs and features that companies are using to tempt consumers.
The Redmi 7 doesn’t have one standout feature but instead does a good job in almost everything. It houses an immersive HD+ display which measures 6.26 inches, along with a 4000mAh battery that can help you get through the entire day. Furthermore, the smartphone is powered with the Snapdragon 632 SoC from Qualcomm.
Xiaomi Redmi 7 Specifications
| Display | 6.26 inch, 720 x 1520 pixels |
| Processor | Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 |
| RAM | 3GB |
| Storage | 32 GB |
| Battery Capacity | 4000 mAh |
| Rear Camera | 12 megapixel + 2 megapixel |
| Front Camera | 8-megapixel |
There is a 12MP rear camera that generates great shots in the daylight. However, the camera’s performance in low-light conditions is weak and the company stuff the MIUI skin and apps with annoying ads.
All in all, this is a strong smartphone with solid performance, no deal-breaking flaws. It offers high values compared to its price.
Infinix Smart 3 Plus (Rs 6,999) mobile with 2gb ram under 7000
The next best smartphone under 7000 in India is the Infinix Smart 3 Plus. This is also one of the cheapest phones that sport three rear cameras. The phone’s screen is 6.21 inches large, with an HD+ resolution of 720x1520 pixels, which renders vibrant colors as we as has decent viewing angles. However, if you bring the phone outside, it can be pretty reflective.
The Smart 3 Plus packs the MediaTek Helio A22 chip along with 2GB RAM and 32GB ò internal memory. However, the handset cannot handle multitasking and heavy apps easily, not to mention its gaming performance. And the face unlock also struggles with slow recognition.
The device has dual rear cameras, including a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens, producing daylight shots with natural colors as well as decent edge detection in the bokeh mode. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera and it doesn’t over-smoothen your skin at all, luckily.
Infinix Smart 3 Plus Specifications
| Display | 6.21 inch, 720 x 1520 pixels |
| Processor | Helio A22 |
| RAM | 2GB |
| Storage | 32 GB |
| Battery Capacity | 3500 mAh |
| Rear Camera | 13 megapixel + 2 megapixel |
| Front Camera | 8-megapixel |
Finally, the Smart 3 Plus houses a 3,500mAh battery that helps you go all day on one charge.
Realme C2 (Rs 5,999 – Rs 7,999)
This phone has a 6.1-inch display with HD+ resolution, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The design is good with a diamond-cut pattern on its back, giving the phone a premium look.
The Realme C2 is among the best smartphone under 7000 with a dual camera setup on the back, including a 13MP main lens and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. On the front, the device houses a 5MP selfie lens. The three lenses offer average performance. However, the photo quality is not stable when taken in daylight, though it does fine in low-light conditions.
Also, the handset is powered by the Helio P22 chipset from MediaTek and there are two variants for you to choose: one with 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage and the other with 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage. It’s worth noting that the higher version with 3GB RAM can handle everyday tasks, but is not smooth with big games.
As one of the best budget smartphone under 7000 with 3GB RAM, the operating system of the Realme C2 is ColourOS 6, based on android Pie 9. It packs a 4,000mAh battery which means long battery life on one charge, along with a 10W charger.
If you want this phone, remember the Rs 5,999 price tag is for the base variant and the other price point is for the larger RAM variant.
Asus ZenFoneMax M1 - ZB556KL (Rs 6,999)
This is another best budget smartphone under 7000 which houses a 5.45-inch display, featuring HD+ resolution, with protected with 2.5D curved glass. Powering the handset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip. The phone features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, with support for up to 256GB of external memory.
This is a dual SIM smartphone, sporting two slots for Nano SIMs. There is a single rear camera of 13 megapixels and one selfie camera of 8 megapixels. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor as well as face recognition for phone unlocking.
Although we haven’t found the best smartphone under 7000 with 4GB RAM yet, the phones mentioned above are still great options for you to choose from with useful features and specifications for such comfortable prices.
