Apple will launch the iPhone 11 on September 10.

On Thursday, the Cupertino-based company sent invitations to the media for the next big launch of its products. The event is scheduled for 10 AM PT when Apple will announce the newest devices as well as services at the Steve Jobs Theater, Cupertino, California.

This year, Apple’s iPhone may be a tougher sell. The tech giant is not expected to make changes to the phone’s basic design, which means this the third consecutive year that the iPhone looks the same. At the same time, foldable phones and 5G phones from rivals are gradually coming out or on their way already, while Apple hasn’t even developed one. Meanwhile, many people are eagerly waiting for big changes with the 2020 iPhones.

We expect Apple to introduce three new models in 2019, to replace the iPhone XR, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XS with the anticipated iPhone 11R, iPhone 11 Pro/11 Max, and iPhone 11. It’s likely that these phones will feature faster chips, better cameras, and run on iOS 13. The devices come at a time the smartphone market is slowing, with consumers taking longer to buy a new phone than they used to.

To deal with slowing sales, Apple has been focusing on new services such as Apple TV Plus – its TV streaming offering, Apple Arcade – its own game subscription, and Apple Card – its credit card. In addition, the company has expanded its hardware business, for example, the AirPods, the HomePod, and the Apple Watch. It may release the Watch Series 5 in September, and we also expect the official launches of Apple TV Plus as well as other services too.
