Xiaomi ranks first in both AnTuTu's best mid-range and high-end smartphone rankings, with the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi 10X 5G.

Recently, AnTuTu has just announced the ranking of 10 most-powerful Android smartphones with the highest benchmark scores in China in August 2020. For each device, AnTuTu performs at least 1000 checks to give the final results.

Starting with the high-end segment, the first place in AnTuTu's ranking belonged to Mi 10 Ultra - Xiaomi's 10th-anniversary smartphone, which excellently scored an overall score of 646,730.

The next two brightest candidates are iQOO 5 and ROG Phone 3, with benchmark scores of 637,616 and 629,245 points, respectively. Despite using the more powerful Snapdragon 865+ processor, the ROG Phone 3 is only placed third in the ranking, beaten by Mi 10 Ultra and iQOO 5 (both of which have a Snapdragon 865).

According to AnTuTu, the slightly different results are understandable, because they tested the most advanced version of the Mi 10 Ultra - 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, compared to the 12GB version of ROG Phone 3. At the same time, ASUS has not optimized the software well enough for the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset.

Black Shark 3S, Vivo X50 Pro + and OPPO Find X2 Pro / Find X2 rank fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh respectively. The last three names appearing in this ranking are Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, iQOO Neo 3, and Redmi K30 Pro.

All 10 flagship models with the highest benchmark scores in August are equipped with Qualcomm processors (Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 865+), no devices use Exynos, Kirin or MediaTek chips.

Moving to the mid-range segment, the Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X Pro duo with MediaTek's Dimensity 820 processor topped the chart, scoring an average benchmark score of 396,887 and 396,001 respectively.

The next three positions belong to the Honor 30, Huawei Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro. All three of these phones use Kirin 985 processor manufactured by Huawei itself. Meanwhile, the Honor X10, Honor 30S, and Huawei Nova 7 SE with Kirin 820 chip ranked sixth, seventh, and eighth.

The last two names in the rankings are Redmi K30 5G and OPPO Reno 4 5G, with Snapdragon 768G and Snapdragon 765G processors. Clearly, the Qualcomm chipset doesn't dominate the mid-range segment like it does in the high-end price range, even though it's still more than enough for everyday activities like social media or playing games at the Euro Palace mobile casino
