Starting next month, Netflix will not be available on certain devices, due to some technical limitations

Netflix is by far one of the most popular platforms for streaming videos online. The service offers all kinds of movies, from the newly-released to the old and classic.

However, starting next month, the platform will not be available on certain devices, due to some technical limitations. So in December, users of some media players and smart TVs will not be able to stream movies on Netflix.

According to Samsung, some older generations of its smart TVs will no longer receive support for Netflix and that some Samsung Smart TVs will be under the effect of this change.

As stated by Netflix’s list of compatible devices, some of the Samsung TV lineup releasing in the year 2010 and 2011 will not be able to stream videos on the site anymore. Other devices belong to the Roku brand, including Roku 2000C, Roku HD, Roku XD, Roku 2100X, Roku XR, Roku 2050X, and Roku SD).

Owners of these devices have already received reminders informing the change. The message is that Netflix would not be available on this device starting the first of December, 2019. One of the restrictions these devices face is that they cannot automatically play the next episode of the TV series.
