The Pixel 4 has already hit the headlines along with an overhauled Google Assistant, making it have not only a fresh look but also more useful features, especially when it comes to the understanding of context whenever you ask about any information or action. As showcased by the company at its annual event - “Made by Google”, the latest version of the revamped Assistant will include a load of dedicated features. Let’s check it out.
First and foremost, users can ask Google Assistant about the details of an upcoming show and share them with a friend or look for tickets easily with a feature called “Continued Conversation”. This means you will no longer have to call out the digital assistant by “hey” and “OK” demands when starting every conversation, making them more natural and less time-consuming. As from now, users can control how long their activity data will be stored by setting a time limit through voice command and of course, you can also delete them as well.
Furthermore, the Assistant on Pixel 4 boasts deeper integration and improved speech processing will result in faster actions. For example, when you ask it to show “my photos from New York,” it will display exact photos you’ve taken there.
Back in May, the so-called “next-gen Assistant” was first teased at Google’s I/O conference. As marketed by the company, most of its algorithms would run locally on Pixel 4 to minimize the network latency and make it faster.
