If you use Google Search recently, you will notice that site names are now under another line featuring their domain names and favicons

In 2019, Google gave us a heads-up that a major change will come to Google Search this year. What the company added was the sites’ favicons and domain names on each of the search results. And this week, the said change was made available to everyone.

If you use Google Search recently, you will notice that site names are now under another line featuring their domain names and favicons. This changer is part of Google’s effort to emphasize the branding of the websites by bringing it to the front and center and help users determine if the sites have what they are trying to search for.

That is not the only tweak the search giant adds. Another one is the black texts of the websites’ paths. The Ad marker has also been given an improvement. It is not green anymore and is in bold.

The icons of the sites have a huge role in helping users scan the page and decide what to see next. They are also important for site branding so webmasters care s lot about choosing a suitable one to boost the number of organic searches.
