Bengaluru Will Own The 5G Network Sooner Than You Think

Along with the cooperation between Tech Mahindra and Rakuten, the 5G network laboratories will soon come to Bengaluru and Tokyo.

Tech Mahindra unveiled that the company and Rakuten from Japanese signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for setting up 4G & 5G network laboratories in both Bengaluru and Tokyo.
For someone unknown, Tech Mahindra is one of the leading companies providing the IT services and lies in the list of the Forbes Fab 50 companies in Asia (2018). And Rakuten, this company was founded in 1997 and has been popular in offering internet services. Now, its main fields of activities include e-commerce, communications, and digital content.
Therefore, the cooperation between these two leading companies is extremely expected. This cooperation has been confirmed when Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a visit to Japan and had a great conversation with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
CP Gurnani, Managing Director and Chief Executive Office, Tech Mahindra believed that the 5G network has the undeniable potentials in all the sectors and the cooperation would bring significant innovation in the 5G space. Also, customer experience will be surely upgraded. He hoped that Tech Mahindra will become a pioneer in mobile network technology.
As for Rakuten, the Chairman Mickey Mikitani expressed his appreciation of the cooperation with Tech Mahindra and revealed there would be the world-class 5G network laboratories established in Bengaluru and Tokyo.
The strengths of Tech Mahindra are mainly lying in the 5G domain, like mobile networks, enterprise applications, Cloud or IT; meanwhile, Rakuten is famous for its wide vision in the establishment of a completely automated 5G network in Japan.
These laboratories will attach special importance to develop innovation in the telecom space. Moreover, Tech Mahindra will aim at integrating networks as a strategy to extend the operations for these labs.
According to the latest news, the company is also collaborating with other service providers all over the world to look for the new directions as well as orientate the network transformation journey.
