Apple To Pay $6 Billion To Resolve the Dispute With QualComm

The agreement between Apple and Qualcomm was achieved after Intel didn’t have the intention to participate in the race to develop 5G smartphone modems anymore.

To settle the dispute with Qualcomm, Apple will have to pay about $6 billion based on the terms in their bilateral agreement.

On April 18, CNBC reported that according to the UBS’s estimate, the Cupertino-based tech company seemingly accepted to pay from $8 to $9 in patent royalties for each iPhone. As per UBS, it is a renowned company offering financial services in Switzerland. The report stated,
