The iPhone maker’s subscription-based music streaming service Apple Music has recently announced its latest promotion in India, which offers users 6-month free trial before the paid plan kicks in.
For the Indian market, Apple has three plans, the ₹99, ₹149, and ₹49 for individual, groups, and students.
From now, any new user who subscribes for the service will enjoy the benefits of six month music streaming for free. However, it appears that Apple has not separately inform those who have already signed up for the 3-month offer.
Apple did not say when it intends to withdraw this latest offer. Last year Apple announced the same free trial but cancelled at year-end. It is possible that it may do the same this year.
Here is how you can get this sweet offer if you are a new user of Apple Music.
Step 1: Download the app to your device.
Step 2: You should see the offer visible when you open the app. However, please bear in mind that if you are on any paid plans of Apple Music or you have an expired subscription, you will not see it.
Step 3: Tap on For You and you will see the banner of the 6-month free trial.
Step 4: Tap on the banner and pick a suitable plan, from student, family, or individual.
Step 5: enter your payment method for the subscription and you are ready to go.
