In answer to users’ frustration of its newer keyboard, Apple has finally taken action to repair MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air at its store and also on-site. Apple used to send machines to the depots dedicated to repairing but now that responsibility belongs to its employees at Genius Bar. The company also sent parts required for the repair to its stores to meet the demand.
This is the latest act from Apple to answer to the public’s concern of the problems the butterfly keyboard on a newer version of Mac laptops runs into. After some time in use, if dust or debris makes their way inside the machine, the keyboard will show odd behavior and even failure.
Even if the MacBook laptops are way over the warranty period, Apple also has a program to repair them too. Apple even said sorry to customers who experience issues with the most recent models of its laptops.
Apple’s MacBooks have an excellent reputation among users, so this is a wise move for the company to quicken the repairing offer. There are a large number of people who have decided to delay the intention to upgrade their devices until there is a better, trouble-free version of the keyboard introduced.
MacBooks released in the last few years are prone to keyboard problem, which is mostly the sticking issue. The worst scenario is some keys might become unresponsive, and sometimes they will be repeated. In March, Apple’s representative shared that they were sorry for what users of their third-generation keyboard had gone through. However, the rest of the company’s customer base still have a positive experience.
With Apple’s effort to fix the problem, users who have run into problems with the butterfly keyboard should bring the laptop to the nearest Apple Store. If the issues do not go away, you will have a whole new keyboard.
