How To Unblock Users On Instagram If They Also Blocked You

Unblocking a person who blocked you too is a tough task for any Instagram user. But don't worry; this article will help you to perform this task.

When someone blocks you, and you also block that person, it becomes hard to Unblock them again for you and even for that person. When two people block each other, one cannot see the profile of the other.

There are two simple ways by which you can easily unblock a user that has blocked you too.

1. Unblock someone on Instagram through ‘List of Blocked Profiles’

The platform keeps a separate list of your blocked users. Now, follow these steps.

1. Firstly, you need to open your account in the Instagram app.
2. Head to the Settings > Privacy settings > Click on 'Blocked Accounts'. After that, you will see the list of the accounts you've blocked.
3. Tap on the profile you want to unblock. You'll be redirected to the profile of that user. If that user has blocked you too, you won't be able to see the profile. But still, you have a way to unblock the user.
4. Click on the three-dot menu button at the rightmost top corner, as shown in the picture given below.

2. Unblock Instagram users via third-party applications

If you still couldn't unblock the person, not to worry, you can also do this task with the help of third-party applications. You can also perform this task with Cleaner for Instagram app. This app is available for both Android and iOS devices.

1. Firstly, download the application to your device.
2. Launch the app and sign in with your existing Instagram account.
3. Once it is opened, click on the 'Settings' gear button; next, go to the 'Blocked Users' tab which you'll see when you scroll down the list.
4. The listing of all the blocked users' profiles are now appearing in front of you, select anyone whom you want to unblock. Then, hit the 'Action' icon.
5. Finally, you'll see an 'Unblock' option, click on it.
