Smartphone cameras have been developing for a long time after the invention of Android, but the front-facing camera has been consistently left behind the camera setup on the back in terms of quality. Google Pixel 3 XL has been considered the best one in this segment in the last year. But when Asus launched the ZenFone 6, it is expected that this smartphone could bring selfie camera to the higher level if the sensors fully use their potential. And it seems to come true when DxOMark released the score of the ZenFone 6 phone for selfies in a camera test. Accordingly, the smartphone wins most competitors with a score of 98 points which boosts it to the top of the DxoMark's selfie camera ranking.

According to the test, the high score of the ZenFone 6 is mainly contributed by the amazing video score while in the photo test, the smartphone gained 101 points, which is equivalent to other top position holders like the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.
As per the DxOMark, the Asus ZenFone 6 photos have “the best texture-noise trade-off” that hasn’t seen in a selfie camera of any smartphones before. Additionally, the photos taken by this smartphone deliver great dynamic range, exposure, and white balance. Regarding the video recording capability, the phone even performed better. It’s “in a league of its own”, said DxOMark.

To recall, the ZenFone 6 phone features a breakthrough flip camera design which can use the rear camera module as selfie cameras. Accordingly, the company only needs to use two sensors to meet all photography needs on its Zenfone 6. Some other features of this smartphone are Snapdragon 855 chipset, 8GB RAM + up to 256GB storage, 640 GPU. The phone is backed with a big 5,000mAh cell with Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging tech. Currently, the phone has a starting price of CNY 19,990 (Rs. 39,100) for the base 64GB RAM + 64GB storage variant while the mid-range 6GB RAM + 128GB storage costs CNY 23,990 (Rs. 43,800) and the top 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 29,990 (Rs. 47,000).
