Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S Is Now Up On Flipkart With Key Details Revealed

Xiaomi is about to announce the Redmi Note 7S on 20 May for the Indian market. Ahead of official launch, the smartphone has already been listed on Flipkart. Users are now able to get updates about its launch by clicking the “Notify Me” button. The Flipkart page reveals that the handset will come with a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor and the “exceptional detail” that its cameras can capture. In addition, the listing also touts its performance, battery, quality, and design.

The upcoming Redmi Note 7S is said to be rebranded model of the Redmi Note 7 with dual 48MP + 5MP cameras that debut in the Chinese market earlier. The Redmi Note 7 also made its way to India, but it only came with a dual 12MP + 5MP cameras.
It this news is accurate, the Redmi Note 7S will come with a nearly identical set of specifications. It is tipped to run on a Snapdragon 660 SoC, clubbed with 3/4GB RAM + 32/64GB of internal storage. The phone will ship with Android 9 Pie at launch with Xiaomi’s MIUI 10. It will be fueled by a large 4,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Up front, there is a 6.3-inch water-drop notched display with FHD+ resolution and a layer of Gorilla Glass 5.
For selfie, the Redmi Note 7S might sport a 13MP front-facing camera housed on the water-drop notch. For biometric security, it will likely feature a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear. Its connectivity options should include standard options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, IR Blaster, an audio jack, GPS, and USB-C port. However, these are all speculations so you should take them with a grain of salt.
